The Alliance Francaise de Toowoomba

The Alliance Française de Toowoomba is a not-for-profit French-Australian cultural association which was founded in 1963. It is dedicated to promoting French language and culture and to establishing friendly relationships between Francophones and Francophiles in Toowoomba and in Australia at large.

The Alliance Française de Toowoomba aims to bring together all those who wish to participate in the promotion of the knowledge of the French language and of French culture and, more generally, to foster a better mutual understanding between Australia and France through the development of linguistic and cultural exchanges.

Each month, we organise events which gather between 20 to 50 people. These events include French movies, French conversation & cafe afternoons and many others.

The attentive, personable faculty at the Alliance Française testify to our ongoing commitment to understand our students, and to accompany each of them on the road to fluency in the French language. For our students, studying at the Alliance is a gateway to integration in a network of diverse individuals, all linked by their shared passion for French culture. Let us help you increase your understanding of the Francophone world - join our Alliance to experience the French language and French civilization!
